This work without title by Louise Bonnet was sold in the Post-War to Present auction at Christies in New York in March this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 37,800.00 (€ 34,768.21), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louise Bonnet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ice Skater in April last year with an auction result of HKD 5,670,000.00 (€ 685,544.27).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Louise Bonnet wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War to Present bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 34.768,21) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louise Bonnet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Ice Skater im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.670.000,00 (€ 685.544,27).
