Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trois Lithographies - Circa 1970 by Louis Toffoli was sold in the Prints & Illustrated Books auction at Artcurial in December 2014. The price achieved of EUR 780.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 600.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Toffoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Bucherons, 1959 in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 17,349.00.

Die Arbeit Trois Lithographies - Circa 1970 von Louis Toffoli wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Prints & Illustrated Books bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 780,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 600,00 – 900,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Toffoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Bucherons, 1959 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.349,00.
