Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Artcurial held the auction Prints & Illustrated Books, which included the work Trois Lithographies - Circa 1970 by Louis Toffoli. It changed hands for a price of EUR 845.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Toffoli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Bucherons, 1959 in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 17,349.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Artcurial die Auktion Prints & Illustrated Books durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trois Lithographies - Circa 1970 von Louis Toffoli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 845,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Toffoli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Bucherons, 1959 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.349,00.
