Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Forgerons dans l'Atlas" by Louis Toffoli was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 42,000.00 (€ 3,979.31) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Louis Toffoli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Bucherons, 1959 in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 17,349.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Forgerons dans l'Atlas" von Louis Toffoli wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 3.979,31) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Toffoli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Bucherons, 1959 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.349,00.
