Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art, which included the work Fruits on a blue dish by Louis Soonius. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Soonius achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figures At The Beach Near Scheveningen, The Kurhaus In The Distance in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 27,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters, 19th Century and Impressionist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fruits on a blue dish von Louis Soonius zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Soonius erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figures At The Beach Near Scheveningen, The Kurhaus In The Distance im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.850,00.
