Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 2,880.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Louis Soonius have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures At The Beach Near Scheveningen, The Kurhaus In The Distance in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 27,850.00.

Die Arbeit Donkeys on the beach von Louis Soonius wurde im Januar 2007 in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.880,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden.
