Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Garden In Giverny by Louis Ritman. The price achieved of USD 237,500.00 (€ 213,023.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Louis Ritman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2011 the work In the Garden was auctioned for USD 542,500.00 (€ 403,255.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Garden In Giverny von Louis Ritman zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 237.500,00 (€ 213.023,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Louis Ritman konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2011 die Arbeit In the Garden für USD 542.500,00 (€ 403.255,78) versteigert.
