However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis-Jean-François Lagrenée - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Charles And Ubalde, Surrounded By Nymphs On Their Way To Rescue Renaud From The Palais D'Armide, which sold at auction in February 2018 for USD 325,000.00 (€ 266,153.47).
