Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Paris; Sur Les Boulevards by Louis Hayet for USD 2,188.00 (€ 1,604.11). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Hayet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bord De L'Oise À L'Aube, Pontoise in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 128,194.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paris; Sur Les Boulevards von Louis Hayet für USD 2.188,00 (€ 1.604,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louis Hayet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bord De L'Oise À L'Aube, Pontoise im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 128.194,76).
