However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis Chéron - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Sketch For A Wall And A Ceiling Decoration With Apollo In His Chariot And Apollo Pursuing Daphne, which sold at auction in June 2001 for GBP 17,625.00 (€ 29,278.63).
