Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work A horse drawn cart along a canal in winter by Louis Apol. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 11,250.00. Admittedly, works by Louis Apol have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A horse-drawn cart on a snowy path in May 2013 with an auction result of EUR 79,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit A horse drawn cart along a canal in winter von Louis Apol zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 11.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Louis Apol auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A horse-drawn cart on a snowy path im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 79.500,00.
