In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Pompéï, Boulangerie. by Louis-Alphonse Davanne for EUR 875.00. This price was achieved in the auction Herbst 2019 - Photographie at Grisebach and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Louis-Alphonse Davanne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paysages, Années 1850, which sold at auction in November 2008 for EUR 2,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pompéï, Boulangerie. von Louis-Alphonse Davanne für EUR 875,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Herbst 2019 - Photographie bei Grisebach erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Louis-Alphonse Davanne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paysages, Années 1850 beobachtet, die im November 2008 für EUR 2.500,00 versteigert wurde.
