This artwork by Lou Bo'An achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Nature's Beauty sold for HKD 764,000.00 (€ 79,371.01) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lou Bo'An - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in November 2011 for HKD 1,736,000.00 (€ 166,076.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lou Bo'An erzielte im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Nature's Beauty für HKD 764.000,00 (€ 79.371,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lou Bo'An mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im November 2011 für HKD 1.736.000,00 (€ 166.076,86) versteigert wurde.
