This artwork by Lou Bo'An achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2006. In the Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings auction, the work In the Mountain sold for HKD 600,000.00 (€ 58,185.66) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lou Bo'An - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in November 2011 for HKD 1,736,000.00 (€ 166,076.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lou Bo'An erzielte im November 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit In the Mountain für HKD 600.000,00 (€ 58.185,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lou Bo'An mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im November 2011 für HKD 1.736.000,00 (€ 166.076,86) versteigert wurde.
