Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Selected Images by Lotte Jacobi was sold in the Photographs from the Ginny Williams Collection auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,648.41). Admittedly, works by Lotte Jacobi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Photogenic, c.1950s in October this year with an auction result of USD 10,080.00 (€ 9,538.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Selected Images von Lotte Jacobi wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Photographs from the Ginny Williams Collection bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.016,00 (€ 1.648,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lotte Jacobi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Photogenic, c.1950s im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 9.538,23).
