Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Four Photographs, including: Alfred Stieglitz by Lotte Jacobi for USD 960.00 (€ 907.03). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lotte Jacobi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Photogenic, c.1950s in October this year with an auction result of USD 10,080.00 (€ 9,538.23).
