Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Architectural Composition II by Lorna Selim was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,432.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lorna Selim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baghdadiyat in June 2020 with an auction result of GBP 52,562.00 (€ 57,887.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Architectural Composition II von Lorna Selim kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.432,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lorna Selim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baghdadiyat im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.562,00 (€ 57.887,93).
