Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Instant Karma No.17 by Lori Hersberger was sold in the First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,942.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lori Hersberger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Instant Karma No. 14 in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 68,903.42).

Die Arbeit Instant Karma No.17 von Lori Hersberger wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.942,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lori Hersberger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Instant Karma No. 14 im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 68.903,42).
