Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape And Pavillion by Long Chin-San was sold in the Modern Asian Art – Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,254.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Long Chin-San achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain Huang in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,904.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape And Pavillion von Long Chin-San wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Modern Asian Art – Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.254,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Long Chin-San erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountain Huang im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.904,08).
