Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Long Chin-San could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work PORTRAIT OF SELF; BUDDHA'S CONTEMPLATION; RELAXATION; & REFLECTION changed hands for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,418.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Long Chin-San have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountain Huang in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,904.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Long Chin-San konnte im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) wechselte die Arbeit PORTRAIT OF SELF; BUDDHA'S CONTEMPLATION; RELAXATION; & REFLECTION für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.418,65) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Long Chin-San auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountain Huang im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.904,08).
