Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shallows; Love Ducks; & Sail Before the Wind by Long Chin-San was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,401.98) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Long Chin-San achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain Huang in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,904.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shallows; Love Ducks; & Sail Before the Wind von Long Chin-San kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.401,98) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Long Chin-San erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountain Huang im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.904,08).
