Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Autumn Eve; Au Printemps (For the Spring); & Music of the Waterfall by Long Chin-San was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,747.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Long Chin-San achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mountain Huang in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,904.08).

Die Arbeit Autumn Eve; Au Printemps (For the Spring); & Music of the Waterfall von Long Chin-San kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.747,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Long Chin-San erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mountain Huang im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.904,08).
