Admittedly, works by Lodewijk Schelfhout have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vue du Val de Grâce, Paris in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 39,650.00 (€ 50,118.93).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lodewijk Schelfhout auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vue du Val de Grâce, Paris im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 39.650,00 (€ 50.118,93).
