Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lodewijk Johannes Kleijn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2021. In the British and European Art auction, the work A winter landscape sold for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 41,747.66) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lodewijk Johannes Kleijn; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Skaters on a frozen waterway, a mansion beyond sold at auction in April 2001 with the realized price of NLG 152,750.00 (€ 70,109.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lodewijk Johannes Kleijn erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit A winter landscape für GBP 35.000,00 (€ 41.747,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lodewijk Johannes Kleijn; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Skaters on a frozen waterway, a mansion beyond im April 2001 mit dem Hammerpreis von NLG 152.750,00 (€ 70.109,39).
