Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work Moored barges near a town by Lodewijk Johannes Kleijn. The auction ended at the price of EUR 5,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lodewijk Johannes Kleijn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Skaters on a frozen waterway, a mansion beyond in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 152,750.00 (€ 70,109.39).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moored barges near a town von Lodewijk Johannes Kleijn zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lodewijk Johannes Kleijn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Skaters on a frozen waterway, a mansion beyond im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 152.750,00 (€ 70.109,39).
