In April 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Het kind: on a carps back by Lizzy Ansingh. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 26,400.00 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Lizzy Ansingh have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 40,630.00 in April 2004 for the work Ontwaakt: Awaken.

Im April 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Het kind: on a carps back von Lizzy Ansingh zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 26.400,00 und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Lizzy Ansingh haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.630,00 im April 2004 für die Arbeit Ontwaakt: Awaken beobachtet.
