This artwork by Lizzy Ansingh achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. In the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work Dolls sold for EUR 7,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lizzy Ansingh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ontwaakt: Awaken in April 2004 with an auction result of EUR 40,630.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lizzy Ansingh erzielte im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours wurde die Arbeit Dolls für EUR 7.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lizzy Ansingh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ontwaakt: Awaken im April 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.630,00.
