In November 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism, which included the work The hat fitting by Lizzy Ansingh. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 13,750.00 72% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lizzy Ansingh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ontwaakt: Awaken, which sold at auction in April 2004 for EUR 40,630.00.

Im November 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism durch, in der auch die Arbeit The hat fitting von Lizzy Ansingh zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 13.750,00 und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Lizzy Ansingh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ontwaakt: Awaken beobachtet, die im April 2004 für EUR 40.630,00 versteigert wurde.
