Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mao Lizi could be acquired at Christies in Shanghai in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art auction, the work Reconfiguration of the Landscape changed hands for CNY 10,500.00 (€ 1,516.39) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of CNY 280,000.00 – 480,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mao Lizi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,880,000.00 (€ 455,266.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mao Lizi konnte im April 2015 bei Christies in Shanghai für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Reconfiguration of the Landscape für CNY 10.500,00 (€ 1.516,39) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von CNY 280.000,00 – 480.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mao Lizi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.880.000,00 (€ 455.266,51).
