Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Winter by Liu Yongming. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,223.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Yongming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Village with an Old Tree in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 137,088.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter von Liu Yongming zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.223,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Yongming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Village with an Old Tree im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 137.088,77).
