Upper estimate price exceeded by 50 %.
In December 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Winter Poem by Liu Yongming. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 600,000.00 (€ 71,277.28), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Liu Yongming; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Village with an Old Tree sold at auction in November 2016 with the realized price of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 137,088.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Winter Poem von Liu Yongming zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 71.277,28) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Liu Yongming; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Village with an Old Tree im November 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 137.088,77).
