The work Village Scene by Liu Yongming was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. It achieved a price of HKD 32,760.00 (€ 3,889.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Yongming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Village with an Old Tree in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 137,088.77).

Die Arbeit Village Scene von Liu Yongming kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 32.760,00 (€ 3.889,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Yongming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Village with an Old Tree im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 137.088,77).
