The work Bodhi by Liu Mengkuan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in March last year. It achieved a price of HKD 27,720.00 (€ 3,191.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Mengkuan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Majestic Landscape of Mount Huang in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 36,681.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bodhi von Liu Mengkuan kam im März letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 27.720,00 (€ 3.191,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Mengkuan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Majestic Landscape of Mount Huang im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 36.681,97).
