The work Beijing Graffiti No. 2 by Liu Bolin was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2020. It achieved a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,330.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Admittedly, works by Liu Bolin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Hand in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 46,915.17).

Die Arbeit Beijing Graffiti No. 2 von Liu Bolin kam im August 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.330,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Bolin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Hand im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 73.000,00 (€ 46.915,17).
