Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy by Liu Bingsen was sold in the The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 auction at POLY in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 33,040.00 (€ 3,609.77). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Bingsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Couplet In Clerical Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Liu Bingsen wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes – A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 4 bei POLY versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 33.040,00 (€ 3.609,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Bingsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Couplet In Clerical Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
