This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Bingsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Couplet In Clerical Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).

Die Arbeit Poem In Clerical Script von Liu Bingsen war einem Käufer im Oktober diesen Jahres HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.353,52) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Bingsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Couplet In Clerical Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
