Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Liu Bingsen achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. In the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Calligraphy In Clerical Script sold for HKD 17,700.00 (€ 2,008.35) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Bingsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Couplet In Clerical Script in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Liu Bingsen erzielte im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy In Clerical Script für HKD 17.700,00 (€ 2.008,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Bingsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Couplet In Clerical Script im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
