Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Bland ruiner" by Linn Fernström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April last year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,904.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Linn Fernström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Ballongerna" in November 2010 with an auction result of SEK 1,550,000.00 (€ 169,434.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Bland ruiner" von Linn Fernström im April letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.904,05) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Linn Fernström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Ballongerna" im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.550.000,00 (€ 169.434,64).
