Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Ling Jian was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 524,000.00 (€ 54,586.87). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ling Jian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Communist Sisters: Tears of Idealism No. 2, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 163,250.00 (€ 206,353.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ling Jian wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 524.000,00 (€ 54.586,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ling Jian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Communist Sisters: Tears of Idealism No. 2 beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 163.250,00 (€ 206.353,47) versteigert wurde.
