Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Qianmen Young Master by Ling Jian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. It achieved a price of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 76,931.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 23%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ling Jian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Communist Sisters: Tears of Idealism No. 2, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 163,250.00 (€ 206,353.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Qianmen Young Master von Ling Jian kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 76.931,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 23%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ling Jian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Communist Sisters: Tears of Idealism No. 2 beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 163.250,00 (€ 206.353,47) versteigert wurde.
