The work Communist Sisters - Don't Cry for Me No. 3 by Ling Jian was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 114,277.63), 38% above the upper estimate. Other works by Ling Jian have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 163,250.00 (€ 206,353.47) in June 2008 for the work Communist Sisters: Tears of Idealism No. 2.

Die Arbeit Communist Sisters - Don't Cry for Me No. 3 von Ling Jian wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.100.000,00 (€ 114.277,63) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Ling Jian haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 163.250,00 (€ 206.353,47) im Juni 2008 für die Arbeit Communist Sisters: Tears of Idealism No. 2 beobachtet.
