The work Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script by Lin Zhimian was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,523.96), 41% above the upper estimate. Other works by Lin Zhimian have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,154.03) in April 2016 for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu.

Die Arbeit Seven-character Calligraphic Couplet in Running Script von Lin Zhimian wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.523,96) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Lin Zhimian haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.154,03) im April 2016 für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu beobachtet.
