Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Calligraphy In Regular Script by Lin Zhimian. It changed hands for a price of HKD 25,960.00 (€ 3,000.50) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 18,000.00 – 28,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Zhimian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu, which sold at auction in April 2016 for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,154.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script von Lin Zhimian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 25.960,00 (€ 3.000,50) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 18.000,00 – 28.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Zhimian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Lishu beobachtet, die im April 2016 für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.154,03) versteigert wurde.
