The work Scholar In Misty Mountains by Lin Shu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 30,965.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Shu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 70,780.13).

Die Arbeit Scholar In Misty Mountains von Lin Shu kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 30.965,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Shu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 70.780,13) versteigert wurde.
