A top price for Lin Shu
This artwork by Lin Shu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscapes sold for HKD 687,500.00 (€ 70,780.13) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. This high result makes Landscapes the most expensive artwork by Lin Shu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Lin Shu
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lin Shu erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscapes für HKD 687.500,00 (€ 70.780,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Landscapes zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Lin Shu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
