Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Riding Horses In Winter by Lin Shu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 8,090.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lin Shu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 70,780.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Riding Horses In Winter von Lin Shu wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 8.090,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lin Shu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 70.780,13).
