Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Memories of The Past - Important Collection from Mr. Wang Boqun and The Republic Period, which included the work Nan Zhang Landscape by Lin Shu. The price achieved of HKD 88,500.00 (€ 10,414.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lin Shu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 70,780.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Memories of The Past - Important Collection from Mr. Wang Boqun and The Republic Period durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nan Zhang Landscape von Lin Shu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 88.500,00 (€ 10.414,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lin Shu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 70.780,13).
