Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lin Shu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,779.21) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 38,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lin Shu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 70,780.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lin Shu erzielte im Mai 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.779,21) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 38.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lin Shu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 70.780,13).
