The price achieved of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,380.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lillian Bassman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Across the Restaurant, Barbara Mullen, dress by Jacques Fath, Le Grand Vefour, Paris in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 43,702.47).
