Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Abstract composition by Lydia Masterkova for USD 37,500.00 (€ 25,301.94). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Lydia Masterkova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 81,600.00 (€ 120,969.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Abstract composition von Lydia Masterkova für USD 37.500,00 (€ 25.301,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lydia Masterkova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.600,00 (€ 120.969,07).
